The Past, Present & Future of the Stockton Maritime Museum

A Message From the President, David Rajkovich

2025 was a year of incredible progress for the SMM. We received our first state grant for design & permitting of our future museum site on Stockton’s south shore waterfront. We surveyed our community to refine our development plans and furthered community relationships. We continued our restoration of USS Lucid, leading a strip trip to Taiwan to source last-of-its-kind gear from the USS Implicit, the last ocean-going minesweeper in the world to be decommissioned. Your continued support of our efforts is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
