Ways to Volunteer

Stockton Maritime Museum volunteer options include, but are not limited to:

  • Hands-on restoration work (see info below)
    Serving as docents during ship tours (veterans preferred)
  • Producing & publishing content for Facebook & YouTube
  • Assisting with community outreach
  • Supporting with planning special events
  • Fundraising for key restoration phases via individual giving, crowdfunding, securing corporate sponsors, and/or identifying & writing grant applications

WORK PARTIES

Our in-person Volunteer Restoration Work Parties occur on board the USS Lucid the 2nd & 4th Saturdays of every month from 8 AM to 2 PM. All Work Party volunteers will be provided lunch and added to our text message event reminder system.

Regardless of Work Party attendance, all interested volunteers MUST fill out the Volunteer Interest Form. We can then set you up with the best volunteer experience possible.
